- How do we privilege your Check-in?
We want you to continue to feel at home….
We offer an EXPRESS VIP check-in service. A form will be sent via email requesting you to fill in the essential identification data and others so you don't have to waste time on your arrival. When at Carmo’s, we only invite you to enjoy a flute of sparkling wine or another treat… in the garden or in the lounge.
- How do we privilege your Check-out?
We offer an EXPRESS VIP check-out if you wish.
After checking and validating your stay expenses at Carmo's digitally, you can decide how you want to make your payment: in person at the reception with your card or you can give us consent for your payment via digital.
- How do we favor your stay at Carmo´s?
In an environment that is regularly sanitized in terms of social areas, with special focus on frequent contact points and accommodation units, disinfection actions and natural ventilation, imposes on us that your check-out is at the limit of 12 noon.
Carmo's values the guest's privacy very much and, out of respect for this principle, we inform you that the turndown service (preparation of the room for the overnight stay) only takes place when requested. Once the guest enters your room, no one else will bother you.
The accommodation units have individual air conditioning, with regulated filters.
Consult your digital concierge on your room's TV for all the Menus and Experiences you can enjoy at Carmo's.

In the outdoor pool area inserted in the garden, distance is ensured in the beds provided and with adequate hygiene.
- How do we favor our restaurant and bar service?
Our restaurant and bar service continues to be exclusive to guests.
Our lunch and dinner service requires advance booking at a selected time, and its preparation is always carried out at the moment and for each guest. Our restaurant services are available in the Lounge, Tent Book & Gin Bar, Garden, Wine Workshop or Tent Suite (Group/families) with advance booking.
A light room service, service is guaranteed in the accommodation units upon prior request. Our breakfast service can be served by our employees, there is a table with some products that will be suggested for your choice. Breakfast can be served in the room, although limited in its offer, requiring prior reservation the day before.
The various Menus that we make available daily can be consulted digitally.
- How do we privilege our SPA service?
We have two massage rooms.
The NATURA SPA – in an airy tent in the garden, in front of the lake, in the middle of Nature – is limited to a maximum of 2 people per use, and its use is subject to prior booking.
DIVINO SPA, whose access is subject to advance booking and with a limit of people per use. Access must be exclusively with the equipment available in your room.
The tables are protected with an insulating film, replaced after each treatment/massage.
Given the need to disinfect and clean the rooms and equipment after each treatment/massage, we ask guests to comply with the appointment times (taking into account the start and end times).
- How do we prioritize experiences?
Wine experiences at Oficina do Vinho and picnics require prior booking.
All cultural experiences will be booked in advance and will need to be confirmed by the service provider. It is suggested that you book them before the date of stay.
- What is the cleaning, disinfection and protection policy?
Cleaning and disinfection measures are applied throughout the day to materials and equipment in accommodation units and social spaces, with special focus on high-touch points. Your room will always be vacuumed with Hepa filters and disinfected with appropriate products, using this unit a washing machine with built-in disinfectant that will wash and vacuum carpets, curtains and mattresses.
Constant and regular airing of all accommodation units and social spaces.
Be careful when handling and washing textiles, namely sheets and towels.
All our employees will be properly protected with individual protection equipment specific to each function. Hand disinfectant will be made available in the various social areas.
All materials and equipment are disinfected before and after use, as well as the spaces where activities take place (HACCP Plan Measures).
- What is the payment / cancellation policy in the current health situation?
The policies to be applied to each available Program will be informed when requesting a reservation.

Priority is given to suppliers with the “Clean & Safe” seal.
Security procedures applied in the treatment and storage of delivered goods.
Respecting the current situation and its evolution, tailor made measures will be applied in accordance with all the necessary measures.
