Shopping day at Traditional Fairs

Ponte de Lima
founded in 1125, on mondays – fortnightly fair, the oldest fair in Portugal. It takes place on the left bank of the river Lima.
Caminha
Founded in 1291 by D. Dinis, it takes place on Wednesdays at Praça Pontault-Combault, with a wide variety of items.
Barcelos
takes place on Thursdays, rich in color, typicality and traditional products. One of the largest fairs in the region.
Vila Nova de Cerveira
Held on Saturdays, it is one of the largest in the North Region, attracting hundreds of people, especially from the big cities in the North of Portugal and Galicia-Spain.
